Join the Kennedy Green Club in planting 17 new trees before students and teachers return for the new school year. Six trees will be planted at the entrance to the school. Hope you can join us.

Join us as we use 2 Saturdays (Aug 10 and 17) to weed (especially around the seating area), clear trail, and of course remove buckthorn and honeysuckle. We will be there between 9:00am and noon both Saturdays.

Join us as we continue to restore the Olson Schools Nature Area. This summer’s focus is on weeding our newly planted areas as well as removal of buckthorn and other invasive plants.

Let’s keep the restoration momentum going at Marsh Lake Park. This summer we will be taking on another buckthorn forest.

Join us as we plant more than 500 native grasses, sedges, and flowers. The restoration is starting to show a real transformation. Gloves encouraged. Tools provided

Join us as we do finishing prep before our big planting event on June 1

Join us as we expand our buckthorn removal area and pull garlic mustard and other invasive weeds.

Join the Kennedy Green Club in planting more than 50 trees at Kennedy High School. They will be planting a diverse selection of trees to grow the tree canopy of their school.

Continuing our prep - time to pick up and pile sticks, branches, and logs from the many dead and dying ash cut down through the generous volunteering of Top Rite Tree and Gray Tree Care. Plus, the weeds sprouting. Soil to prep. Tools provided, gloves encouraged.

We will continue digging up buckthorn/honeysuckle, piling branches, and pulling weeds in prep for a our Spring Planting (which will be in late May/early June). Tools provided, gloves encouraged.
